The short version: We collect what we need to run your AI assistant — account info, emails, attachments, and thread history. We use it to serve you, not to sell your data. You can ask us questions anytime at support@evalbox.ai.
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy describes how EB Automate (“EBA”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use evalbox.ai and the email addresses we provide for your workspace.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use EBA, we may process:
- Account data — name, email, business name, password hash, billing status
- Onboarding answers — industry, pain points, work style (used to personalize your assistant)
- Automation content — messages you send in the app or by email, including subject lines and bodies
- Attachments — PDFs, photos, spreadsheets, and other files you attach to requests
- Learning memory — durable notes you or the assistant save (user profile, workflow memory, request summaries for search)
- Usage & diagnostics — page views, request traces, and error logs to keep the service reliable
3. How we use information
We use your information to:
- Run automations and reply by email or in your dashboard thread
- Parse attachments (documents, photos) and generate AI-assisted outputs
- Remember preferences and workflows across requests for your team
- Search prior requests so you do not have to repeat yourself
- Process subscription payments and send service-related email
- Improve reliability, security, and product quality
We do not sell your personal information or use your customer emails to train public models for other customers.
4. AI processing
EBA sends relevant parts of your requests — including message text and attachments — to AI model providers through our infrastructure (for example Vercel AI Gateway) to generate replies, parse files, and build summaries.
AI outputs may be inaccurate. You should review drafts and bids before sending them to your customers.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You may request deletion by contacting support; some records (for example billing) may be retained where required.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and private attachment storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your inbound email token.
We do not yet offer self-serve password reset in the app. If you forget your password or suspect unauthorized access, email support@evalbox.ai.
8. Your choices
In the app today, you can:
- Work with automation requests at /dashboard
- View learning memory at /dashboard/memory (read-only)
- See your inbound email address at /dashboard/workspace
- Sign out from any dashboard page
We do not yet offer an account settings page in the dashboard. To update your name, email, password, or subscription, email support@evalbox.ai to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
9. Children
EBA is built for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice.
